Description

Buttery shortbread and fine Guérande sea salt bring contrast and character to this 60% Belgian dark chocolate bar. The cocoa provides depth and gentle bitterness, while the shortbread adds a soft, crumbly texture and subtle baked sweetness. The addition of fine sea salt enhances the overall flavour, creating a balanced combination of sweet, savoury, and rich cocoa notes.

The shortbread pieces introduce a delicate biscuit character that complements the chocolate rather than overpowering it, adding both texture and warmth. The Guérande sea salt, harvested using traditional methods from French salt marshes, is finely textured and evenly distributed, subtly lifting the cocoa and enhancing its natural complexity.

Dolfin develops its chocolate from carefully selected cocoa beans that are fermented, dried, roasted, and conched to unlock their full flavour potential. The use of pure cocoa butter ensures a smooth melt and refined finish throughout the 70g bar.

Dark chocolate is naturally rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, antioxidant compounds associated with helping protect cells from oxidative stress.
