Mahleb is an aromatic spice – a kernel, extracted from the seeds of a species of cherry, has a flavour similar to a combination of bitter almond and cherry, also similar to marzipan. It is used in small quantities to sharpen sweet foods and cakes and it is widely used in Asian and Middle Eastern cuisines.

Delivery is free on all UK orders over £40, with a £4.45 delivery charge for orders below this amount. Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking updates directly from the courier, with options available including safe place delivery, delivery to a neighbour, or collection from a local pickup point.
